Our School

An environment where our students feel safe and thrive…

hambling view school

Welcome from the Headteacher…

Hambling View is situated on the outskirts of the beautiful city of Bath and is surrounded by places of natural beauty which inspire our staff and students to enjoy every moment of their time at school.

“Hambling View is a place where young people flourish, families feel supported and staff love coming to work. Every member of our community plays their part in building the best future for our students. We are all committed to supporting our young people so that they go on to become resilient and independent young adults who lead happy and successful lives”

Beth Rowlinson – Headteacher

Our Vision

At Hambling View we aim to create an environment where our students feel safe and thrive while they find their place in the world, connect with learning, build strong relationships, and overcome their challenges. We will prove an ethos within our community where nurture, enjoyment and positive relationships underpin all that we do to enable our students to enjoy every aspect of school life while continuously building on their knowledge and skills so that they are equipped for all aspects of life inside, outside and beyond school.

It is important to us that students who come to Hambling View are provided with opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills while participating in relevant, real-world learning. We want to see our students grow to be active participators with a real sense of agency so that they understand that they have the power to make positive change in the world.
